The Hen and Chicks Barn Market was created after we attended many similar events here in Indiana and surrounding states; Georgie suggested that Jenny and Brian's farm would be the perfect spot to host a market in Jackson County, and after some discussion, they agreed to give it a try!  For our first market, in the fall of 2016, we had to go searching for 25 vendors to share in our dream; currently, the market hosts 70-75 vendors and hundreds of shoppers at each event.

 

Hen and Chicks is truly a family affair for Jenny, Georgie and Marie, as our husbands, sisters, parents, and children have all pitched in to make our market successful, as have our many friends who greet customers, haul trash, clean tables and give our vendors breaks.  Our vendors also become an important part of our family, and we are so happy that many choose to return year after year.  

 

We like to say that a visit to the Hen and Chicks Barn Market is a pleasant day in the country, where you can shop for your home or your wardrobe, find that perfect gift, have a delicious meal at a vintage kitchen table, listen to some great live music and just have fun!  Hen and Chicks is the perfect spot for a Girls' Day Out or a family shopping trip; we're always glad to welcome you at the farm!
